Call for Application: Climate and Energy Policies Advocacy of Youth in the Arab World
The Regional Climate and Energy project (located in Jordan) of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) and Germanwatch e.V. are happy to announce the open call for application for the regional project on Climate and Energy Policies Advocacy of Youth in the Arab World. The project will start in March 2019 and last until October 2019.
This project is aimed to strengthen the capacities of the regional youth in the energy and climate fields, such as building more advocacy and research skills. A group of 12-14 participants will be selected to undergo several trainings on energy policies, research and wiring skills. The participants will then write a position paper on energy in their respective countries, which includes their vision and recommendations based on the currently instated energy policies. This policy paper can be a document for the regional decision-makers to be aware about what the youth from the region is expecting from the energy field, as well as civil society actors and international organizations working in the MENA region.
Application Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: 18 – 28
- Have experience in the field of Climate and Energy or a related field
- CV
- Proof of English
- Be a resident of one of the MENA countries
- Submit Complete Application Form
- Deadline: Sunday 10.03.2019
